Major: Bio  Age: 22 I love modeling because it gave me the light I needed in order to came out of the dark place I was in A goal of mine is to be published model by the end of 2020 Black pride to me means loving and embracing black heritage and your roots, owning and standing for your blackness 🖤

Major: Senior Health Professions Major Age: 22 Goals: one day I want to start my own practice and open my own therapeutic facility doing rehabilitation and fitness training. In the meantime I want to delve into the realm of modeling while pursuing fitness and physical therapy I love what I do because it allows me to be my genuine self and spread love and positivity by helping others teaching others and learning from others to perfect my craft. Black pride means knowing who I am even if I don’t know where I originally came from. Black pride means holding myself to a higher standard as a man of color in America. Black pride means standing out in uncomfortable situations. Black pride means being a structural figure to my people. Black pride means showing off my blackness and all of its glory! 

Major: Sport and Rec Management Age: 19 Goals: Make change in the business side of sports in terms of diversity in order to reflect the demographic on the fields/courts."Black pride means to me to be thankful for who I am and those who came before me so that I could be who I truly am".

Major: Finance (Investments); Age: 21; My mother, along with many others I’m sure, has always reminded my sisters and I that as a black woman in the world we live in today, we GOTTA put in 110% if we wanna get to where we wanna be at. With my mommas words being stuck in the back of my head since I was little girl, I’ve created a foundation of self-determination and motivation to challenge myself with the aspiration of being a leader in an industry that has an abundant lack of black women representation. That’s a general goal I’ve set for myself.

Major: Education Age: 22 Goals: Opening an academy to teach kids about all areas of the music industry; I love music because it’s a way of expression that allows you to be vulnerable and safe at the same time. "Being black means following your dream regardless of what’s in the way".

Major: Nursing Age: 19 Goals: I want to become a pediatric nurse and help others in need. I love being supportive and caring for others because it makes me feel good on the inside. Black pride to me means to represent who you are and be proud of it

Major: Finance Major: Age: 19 I am a Bartender aspiring to be a nightclub owner; On top of that, I love to train in Mixed Martial Arts

Age: 22 Goals: To become successful in music and in the creative field; To become the inspiration for people to eat better, exercise, meditate, be more compassionate & evolve love for themselves and others. I also want to create my own food market filled with alkaline foods & create an organization that gives all schools healthier choices. I love what I do because I love to inspire people and give good energy. I love feeling connected to people & I love what music does for people. "Black pride to me means loving yaself for who you are and understanding your culture and how you want to contribute to it ."
